.NET/Azure Engineer
Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
Please note that this is a permanent position and we do not offer freelance/contract arrangement for the role.
About the team:
We are a squad composed by 1 Product Owner, 1 Scrum Master and 10 developers.
We are owning several products, mainly .NET Middleware technologies, Azure resources, bespoke technical components and security services.
Our main stakeholders are Euroclear business software developers, system administrators and solution architects.
Our products are:
- developed in C#/.NET
- used in many contexts: on-premise, Cloud, hybrid
- bespoke products are delivered as NuGet or hosted as Security Token Services
- technologies: .NET, IIS, Container application run time, ADB2C, Service Mesh…
Additionally, the squad is involved in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the overall system. The developer also collaborates with security teams to implement necessary security measures and ensure data protection during data exchange.
Our squad is also responsible for Service Fabric running on premise for API hosting, and to enable technologies and contributes to IT transformation like cloud integration and containerisation.
The squad is also 3rd level support for production incident management.
About the role:
As a senior Engineer/Developer in the squad, you will:
- Contribute to product development and integration
- Receive hands-on coaching from experts
- Develop your skills to become T-Shaped, gaining proficiency in various required skills
- Contribute to the integration of new technologies in terms of design, integration and development
- Contribute to the support of our Products in Production and in the scope of Epics
Key Qualifications
- Proficient in .NET application development & testing on-premise and in Azure
- Strong understanding of Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies
- Security focused with experience in advanced IT infrastructure
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot/debug complex problems
- Able to work independently with a high team mindset, quality-oriented
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in C#/.NET development, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Security in Windows Server environment, including Kerberos and Active Directory
- Good understanding of PKI concepts and Certificates
- Experience with Azure services
- Strong understanding of CICD concepts
Nice to have:
- Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022
- Proficient in PowerShell, .NET 4.8, .NET 8, with a focus on .NET architecture, ADFS, MVC, IIS, WCF, WebAPI, NuGet, APIs
- Proficient in OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML
- Experience with containerization and troubleshooting in AKS and OpenShift
- Knowledge of .NET 8 integration on Linux
- Familiarity with Istio, Dapr, Keda, and CNCF technologies
- Experience with Service Fabric
- Proficient in Splunk
