Research Support Officer
Grade UE06: £33,882 to £39,105 per annum
College of Science and Engineering / School of Physics and Astronomy
Full time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended: permanent post
We are looking for a Research Support Officer to provide pre- and post- award support for research projects and grant applications in the School. You will take a leading role in monitoring expenditure against available funds, providing recommendations to Principal Investigators on how to optimise use of available funds, ensuring compliance with funder regulations.

- High levels of numeracy and accuracy;
- Strong financial management skills;
- Experience of research grant management;
- Ability to work independently, and prioritise a busy workload;
- Good time management and organisational skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to use tact and diplomacy.
