Senior Finance Analyst
Grade UE06: £33,882 to £39,105 per annum

Full time: 35 hours per week
Open-ended: Permanent
Supporting medical deanery finance business partners by providing financial analysis and management information for strategic and operational purposes; preparing journals, management accounts and reconciling financial data.
The Opportunity:
Supporting finance business partners across medical deaneries by preparing journals and management accounts; providing financial analysis and management information for both strategic and operational purposes; reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy of processing according to University policies and procedures; reinforcing wider understanding of financial policies and procedures by liaising with staff across deaneries; and developing effective working relationship with key stakeholders to assist with gathering of financial data.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Either HNC/HND or equivalent level qualification in relevant discipline plus relevant experience or extensive broad experience acquired through on-the-job training.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Have customer-focussed approach.
- Ability to prioritise workload to tight schedules.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
