Estate Worker (Landscape Department)
UE03 : £23,144.00 - £25,148.00 Per Annum.
Corporate Services, Estates Department, Landscape Department.
Full time Post - 35hrs a week.
Open Ended Contract - Permanent.
Flexible working patterns will be considered.
Estate Workers Landscape Services Department (up to 2 posts).
We are looking for someone with initiative and enthusiasm to join our team and take up this fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continuous development of the University Grounds & Landscape.
You must have a land based industry background, with an interest in landscaping, gardening or estate work. You should also be self-motivated and have good organisational skills.
The Opportunity:
You will be a member of the grounds maintenance team responsible for delivering excellent standards throughout the University. Your work will ensure the biodiversity, longevity and overall success of the grounds provision.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who gives reliable service at a consistently high level
- Be able to work as part of a team but also to be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- You will have experience or interest in gardening or land based industry.
- You should be willing to undertake training.
- Work outside all year in a range of environments and conditions.
- Drive work vans and other self-propelled equipment
