A Day in the Life: 

We are looking for a data-driven and analytical Manager of Analytics and Insights to support our data initiatives within the rental car industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analytics and a keen understanding of the rental car market. This role is key in providing actionable insights that enhance fleet management, optimize pricing strategies, improve customer experiences, and drive operational efficiency.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Data Analysis: Analyze data related to fleet management, ancillary product engagement, customer lifetime management, and operations to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that provide insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Customer Insights: Use data to understand customer behavior and preferences, identifying areas to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Operational Support: Work with Operations teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Market Analysis: Assist in analyzing market trends and customer demand to support growth and fleet strategies that maximize profit.
• Fleet Management: Collaborate with the Fleet Management team to optimize vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and acquisition strategies through data-driven insights.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Finance to provide analytical support and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis, promoting best practices in data management.
• Team Support: Work closely with the Director of Analytics and Insights to execute the analytics strategy and mentor junior analysts in the team.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably within the rental car industry or a similar sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R), data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and statistical software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate data into actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the rental car industry, including fleet management, pricing strategies, and customer dynamics, is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications in data analytics or data science (e.g., Google Data Analytics Certification) are a plus.
• Experience: Familiarity with fleet management systems, pricing optimization tools, and customer analytics specific to the rental car industry.
• Tools: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies is an advantage.
