1. Position Summary:

Lead end to end supplier capacity management using RCCP (rough cut capacity planning) method for both project and serial production with 24 months visibility. Apply RCCP MOS to highlight capacity constrains risks, build action plans together with procurement team and coordinate execution in due time.

1. Key Job Areas of Responsibilities

• Lead weekly T2 MOS ( working members weekly meetings) with regional teams to mitigate overloading of supplier manufacturing lines in time. 
• Conduct deep dive meetings with commodity teams on critical components, capacity shortfall mitigation plan.
• Prepare topics for weekly Tier4 (escalation meeting) with Global Commodity and GBE leaders.
• Prepare monthly RCCP (Rough cut capacity plan) meeting along with all the documents needed for the end to end capacity management process (Highlight Points , Component demand Tier 1, Tier 2, No BOM and Completion)
• Drive supplier capacity gap analysis along with commodity, NPI and operational buyers including risk assessment, mitigation plan (RAIL) and escalation path. 
• Run capacity simulations as per demand when risks are highlighted by procurement or cross – functional teams, incl Simulating the VE-RE / ST (quota) transfers in the global RCCP file as per the cmdty buyer request
• Make sure all the global analysis are available and correctly reflecting the latest Sales Plan. Assist and do all the checked required during the call, or take actions for follow up, where required.
• Ensure effective communication with the planning (SIOP) team.  Get the gap analysis on Sales Plan visibility (24 months) and highlight if any errors/gaps appear. 
• Prepare the data for monthly SIOP recon deck preparation (RAIL)
• Run RCCP metrics and share monthly report within procurement and leadership team.
• Contacting the supplier in order to document the capacity for all the new Part Numbers
• Maintaining an accurate supplier Capacity database; look for the supplier capacity collection -process optimization .
• Offer end to end RCCP process training to the new employees to ensure the right level of priority is allocated to the activity
• Working with the global supply base to assure a correct feedback is received by the dead line 
• For the open actions; organize and coordinate the follow up weekly calls.
• Focus on process optimization and automation ( NPI RCCP, Tier2 capacity management, SCC portal, new capacity management tools)  
• Ensure adherence to new process and procedures that interact with supplier capacity management ( effective cross -functional interaction) 
• Continuously measure the process  efficiency by having the right metrics in place (continuous improvement)
• Perform monthly SA/ SAP cleaning with PA team support in order to have an accurate and correct SA order maintenance as well orders quota maintenance, to avoid the RCCP impact for demand allocation

 

1. Education / Qualifications

• B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical / Production. Project Management certification (PMP) will be an added advantage.

1. Experience 

• Experience in Purchasing, Supply chain or Project management, minimum 8-10 years, within the Automotive Industry

• Fluent in English, Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Influencing & negotiation Skills for better cross-functional collaboration
• Responsive and responsible to deliver on commitments; able to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Analytic, attention to details; organized; Quick learner, self-starter.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
