Role: Regional Learning & Development Partner - South Coast
Location: Field Based
Salary: £34,000-£38,000 base plus bonus, benefits & car
At Next we have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Partner to join our South Learning and Development Team. The role provides support and guidance for our retail stores, facilitates engaging sessions both virtually and in the classroom and drives the business forward supporting and owning projects.
This is a field based role covering the South Region which stretches from
- Canterbury
- Plymouth
- Exeter
- Brighton
- Croydon
You will ideally be based within these areas and must be prepared to travel, sometimes at short notice across the whole South Region. A company car will be provided.
About the role:
Business Knowledge
- Maintain an up to date working knowledge of the business including specific regional challenges
- Promote and deliver on retail objectives
Collaboration & Partnering
- Work collaboratively and influence the team and stakeholders
- Build relationships easily and adapt style to different levels
- Work with other departments to create and deliver appropriate and scalable learning solutions
- Plan, organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines

- Use relevant platforms to communicate key messages
- Own projects to drive business growth
- Consistently lead the L&D agenda e.g meetings, visits
- Demonstrate credibility as a confident partner. Effectively adapt style to a wide range of audiences both virtually and in the classroom

- Use the learning cycle to identify, design and deliver multiple learning solutions
- Measure success and impact on learning solutions, workshops and projects
- Use reporting to identify focus areas to drive result

About you:
- CIPD qualified or have a relevant coaching qualification (desired)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to provide constructive feedback, offer guidance, and support employee growth is essential
- Able to build relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders
- The ability to analyse data related to employee performance, training effectiveness, and talent gaps is important for identifying areas where development is required
