AI/ML Technical Lead – MADC

Location: Casablanca (onsite) 

We`re seeking a Technical Leader in AI/ML to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring high-performing engineers in integrating AI, ML, Gen AI in our Oracle SaaS Solutions (ERP, Fusion, NetSuite) and their ecosystems.

As the Technical Leader in AI/ML, you`ll oversee various specialized areas with diverse functional components.

What you will do

Technical Leader AI/ML will take the responsibility as a technical lead, mentor, and manager leading a specialized area that may have diverse functional elements - a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for applications. (R&D Center)

We`re looking for someone with sharp technical skills and strong communications skills who is excited to drive a culture of shared responsibility for the quality of code delivered by your team.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable AI solutions that meet Oracle`s rigorous standards.
• Clearly describe technical features of services and technologies, guiding development teams in enhancing our solutions with top-tier capabilities.
• Participate in architectural design reviews and updates.
• Build and lead a strong development team focused on Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models, Machine Learning, and related technologies.
• Convert client needs into detailed engineering specifications (modeling, stakeholder management).
• Provide technical mentorship on designing, implementing, and supporting both new and existing organizational information systems and software applications.
• Collaborate within a team environment, coaching and upskilling junior members.
• Implement software development best practices, focusing on testing and validation to ensure model accuracy and efficiency.
• Keep up to date of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, integrating cutting-edge techniques to continuously improve our systems.
• Work with stakeholders to convert complex business requirements into solid technical solutions.
• Engage in all project phases, from inception through deployment and maintenance, aligning with strategic goals to maximize value.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in a technical capacity (e.g. Software Developer, Data Scientist, ML/AI Engineer
• Good knowledge of distributed systems and data structures design, database architecture and implementation
• Experience in AI, LLM and ML
• Advanced hands-on experience with Java and Python is preferable
• Experience in defining functional specifications for applications, processes, and capabilities
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Ability to anticipate and analyze risks and develop mitigation plans
• Meticulous, organized, and critical thinker
• Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
