Your role
At Rectory Garden we are dedicated to providing high quality care for children aged 12 months to 4 years and we are looking for a fun, caring and enthusiastic person to join our team.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the setting, delivering the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum and providing a high standard of care for all the children who attend Rectory Garden.
Working hours – Monday to Friday, 7.45am until 4.15pm during term time periods, Tuesday to Thursday 7.45am until 4.15pm during holiday club periods.
Your responsibilities
- Provide high quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement activities to support children’s learning, development and current interests.
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring needs are met.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff effectively.
- Follow the settings policies.
You will need:
- minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare.
- experience of working within an early years setting.
- knowledge of child development and early years education.
