We are excited to announce the job opening for the role of Applications Administrator – Global PMO in Emerson. In this role, we expect the candidate to support and analyze to maintain and continuously improve the tools and systems used in Project Management Organization. The candidate should be skilled to analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Meeting with Business analyst to discuss the scope of new project or tasks.
• Work closely with BA translating feature and requirement from partners into fully formed user stories.
• Develop conceptual prototypes to evaluate improvement in efficiency and productivity (Whenever needed)
• Support for the Data extraction, Integration and development activities based on project requirements converting the user stories into fully functional features in the Tools in place.
• Consequently, involve in debugging, repairing, solve, and performing root cause analysis for the tools/applications owned by the team.
• Actively involve in Testing or Validation of the work done to ensure that the system will do what it has been designed for
• Be the prime point of contact in case of any feedback or suggestions for the Tools and applications.
• Support for training documentation / material preparation and activities for the new tools launch, ensuring maximum usage and a seamless transition from the existing process.
• Explore Software / Tools available in market and suggest affordable and effective tools for procurement.
• Use suitable tracking methods and ensure reporting to Tools and Automation Manager. Always ensure to meet the lead time and quality commitments.

Who You Are:

You are responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems in various digital environments to help businesses improve processes, save costs, and achieve better outcomes. The ultimate objective is to ease the workload of employees and increase efficiency and reliability by automating redundant or unreliable manual processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering Degree in any discipline
• 1 or 2 year(s)’ experience in Automation
• Knowledge in Database management systems and visualization tools like SQL, Power Bi, Tableau
• Experience in any ERP Software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Basic Knowledge in Software Development life cycle
• Basic knowledge in any programming languages is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile development technologies.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually on a project.
• Good Knowledge in MS Office, Power Platform and Azure.
