Senior Developer SQL Power BI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SQL and Power BI Report Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and Power BI reports. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, data visualization, and database management.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- SQL
- Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Create and modify database structures, schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts to automate database tasks.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through proper documentation and adherence to best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support business needs.
- Power Platforms
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and reporting issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SQL development and Power BI.
- Document processes, procedures, and workflows related to database and report development.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer and Power BI Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Knowledge of database design and data modelling.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Min. 5 years of work experience developing data-driven applications using SQL Database.
- Min 3 years of experience using Power Platforms like Power BI Desktop, Power Automate or Power Apps.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R will be added advantage.
- Certification in SQL or Power BI will be addon.
