Position Overview:

We are seeking additional anesthesiologists to provide obstetric anesthesia care as well as anesthesia for fetal interventional procedures through our Advanced Delivery Program at Nemours Children`s Hospital in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and skill to execute best practices and the ability and desire to collaborate within a multi-specialty, multi-disciplinary team. Academic appointment is awarded through Thomas Jefferson University. Research opportunities abound.  

 

Key Points:

• All OB anesthesia practice with addition of fetal interventional procedures 
• Possibility of combined pediatric and OB practice if pediatric anesthesia fellowship trained
• Physician only practice 
• Growing program with newly hired interventional MFM team
• Primarily 24-hour low volume shifts with additional home back up call 
• Reasonable work hours / competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD, DO or equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license & DEA
