Department	Maintenance
Position	Welder / Boilermaker
Location	Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification	Certification in Welding, Boiler-making, or a related trade.
Experience	Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder/Boilermaker, preferably in the mining or heavy industrial sector.
Requirements	Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and arc welding. Experience working with various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for welding and fabrication. Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging conditions, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
Responsibilities	Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to repair or construct metal structures, components, and equipment. Assemble and maintain boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels as required. Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or defects in equipment and recommend appropriate repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation. Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) and cutting tools safely and efficiently. Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on pipelines, machinery, and structural components. Ensure proper alignment and fitment of fabricated parts and perform quality checks on welds. Comply with safety standards and protocols, particularly regarding the handling of hazardous materials and working in high-risk environments. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including weld logs and inspection reports. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize and execute welding and fabrication tasks effectively. Participate in emergency repair activities to minimize operational downtime.
